CIA working on ‘ChatGPT’ for spies

The CIA is developing an AI tool similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT to help analysts sift through large amounts of public information. The tool, being developed by the CIA's Open-Source Enterprise division, will be a chatbot and will provide sources along with its answers to help verify the credibility of the information. It will be accessible within the US intelligence community but not to policymakers or the public. The CIA has not disclosed the model it will use or how it plans to safeguard information from being accessible on the public Internet.
